KD Bowe was born in
Norfolk, VA and raised in Currituck Co., NC. During his college years, a
casual request for the time from his college radio station’s general
manager began his highly popular career in radio.
Known nation wide for his comedic, witty, and sometimes controversial
radio show, KD Bowe’s rich baritone voice has been used on hundreds of
commercials, and as the signature voice for radio and TV stations both
nationally and abroad. He’s been featured on several artists’
recording projects and has even recorded his own single that gained
national airplay.
A recipient of the 1998 Trailblazer Award for excellence in the arena of
mass media, KD Bowe is also the CEO of KDB Productions, a cutting edge
audio services production company located in Conyers, GA.
Billy Daniels is an Ormond Beach, FL native and attended Bethune-Cookman
College on a music scholarship where he earned a BA in
English/Communications. In addition to his on-air duties, Billy is the
Creative Director and Writer for the Nationally syndicated show
"The Bobby Jones Gospel Countdown", he is also a voice-over
talent for commercials and other programming for SPS (Sheridan Producton
Services). Billy's inspirational booster is "If your vision doesn't
cost you something, then it's only a daydream."
11am - 3pm Mon-Fri - Morgan Dukes
Morgan Dukes is a
native of Mississippi and has spent the last 15 years in the
broadcasting industry. She began her career as a television reporter in
Hattiesburg, MS, moved into film and theatre and finally established
herself in radio broadcasting as an on-air personality. She has worked
in every format of radio and a host of cities before realizing the call
of God on her life to serve in the ministry of Gospel radio. Morgan is
"First Lady" of Community Fellowship Christian Center in
Atlanta, a teacher in the Continuing Education Department and sings in
the choir. She is married to Pastor Jerome Dukes and they are the proud
parents of one son, Justin. "God has allowed me to work in various
formats, travel across this beautiful country and most importantly to
learn His Word", states Morgan.
3pm - 8pm Mon-Fri - Ace Alexander

Born in Chicago, IL and
raised in Memphis, TN, Ace Alexander is the spirited host of Sheridan
Gospel Network The Light’s afternoon “Praise Party.” Ace began his
career in Holly Springs, MS as an announcer and program coordinator, and
later held on-air positions at various radio stations in Memphis. His
on-air experience includes several music formats from Urban and Adult
Contemporary to Oldies and Gospel.
Ace has demonstrated versatility in the broadcasting and entertainment
industry by successfully performing in diverse roles. As a producer, he
coordinated a live call-in talk program as well as a music countdown
show on a number one Arbitron-rated radio station. He was publicist for
a well-known gospel rap recording artist and marketing director for the
entertainment venue of one of the largest African-American ministries in
the Memphis metropolitan area. He has been an organizer of ministry
conferences and has been narrator and even an actor in inspirational
stage plays. Ace is also an independent production specialist,
delivering innovative voice-overs and imaging for radio, TV, ministry
broadcasting and other special promotions.
Having a compassionate heart for youth and young adults, Ace has been
the featured speaker at Christian singles workshops, youth rallies and
other special events. Although he currently resides in Atlanta, GA, Ace
is an ordained Deacon and a member of the Board of Directors at New Life
Community Church in Memphis where Pastor L C Marr is his spiritual
father.
Ace is committed to utilizing his God-given talents to promote the
Kingdom of God and encourage others to discover their divine purpose. He
considers his position as host of Sheridan Gospel Network The Light’s
afternoon “Praise Party” as a divine appointment to his most
important ministry yet.

Mike Gamble, a 25 year
veteran of radio has returned to The Light. His career started in
Jacksonville, FL with WPDQ. From Jacksonville, Gamble spent 15 years in
Atlanta, GA radio holding positions from production manager to program
director. Gamble served as Director of Gospel Programming overseeing
three gospel stations in Atlanta, GA, Baltimore, MD and Dallas, TX. He
has been a station owner and operator. Currently, Gamble and his wife
operate a small media buying agency specializing in ministry media
planning. Gamble is the husband of Tina and father of four children and
four grandchildren. He is honored and delighted to serve God on
"The Light" as Director of Programming.
